Motivation

Scott Bellware's chalk talk included a statement that BDD should be used from the top level behaviors all the way down to the low level behaviors. The intent of this session was to explore that idea and discuss strategies for making it easier.

Summary of Discussion

While the concept of Behavior Driven Devlopment is pretty well understood, the implementation seems to be very nebulous. There are multiple ways to define behaviors including Given/When/Then and Context/Specification.

Most people were using BDD with their higher level tests, but switched to TDD for their lower level tests.

Note: This session turned out to have all learners and no teachers. There was a brief discussion and then people went off to other sessions.
